The ZIPP® 88v6, 88v7 and 88v8 aluminum front hubs products that are recalled are the subject of a safety recall. Some of the aluminum front hubs could incur flange failure that might result in a de-tensioning of the wheels.

The affected ZIPP® 88v6, 88v7 and 88v8 aluminum front hubs are readily identifiable by the size of the external flange rings and clinch nuts. The geometry of all three models are the same.
